How to Keep A Loved With Dementia One Safe

Here's a great article by Mike Good at nextavenue on how to keep a loved one with dementia safe.

It's always stressful worrying about what could happen to your loved one, especially in the beginning when you may not have a clear diagnosis for what's occurring. Maybe they're getting lost for hours on the road, or maybe they got into a car accident. Simple things that they used to do everyday become hazardous activities leaving us concerned about what could happen when were are not there to monitor them.

Frustration builds and even if it's not their fault, they slowly lose their ability to do what they used to be able to do all the time. This article has great tips on how to channel your loved ones desires to continue with their daily life while keeping them safe. Hope you enjoy it!
